32 year-old Man Found Dead in the Hidden Village apartment complex near Childress Dr.

Atlanta Homicide Investigators are continuing to investigate circumstances that led to a 32 year-old male being found in a Hidden Village apartment with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

According to video taken by 11Alive reporters, Atlanta Police Officers responded to the scene, off of Childress Drive, at roughly 4 a.m. and found a man down with what appeared to be "at least one gunshot wound to the head," said Sgt. Lyon.

At this point in our investigation we are trying to determine exactly what happened and at this time we are canvassing the area and seeking anyone that has information- Sgt. Lyon

The APD officers said that they did not yet know of any motive or of any suspects in the crime, but there was still an active investigation.

Cascade Patch has learned that the victim is named Mario Shaw and was shot twice, in the stomach and the head.
