Arrest Made in Hit and Run Accident on Peeples Street

A suspect has turned himself in to Atlanta Police.

According to Officer John Chafee with the Atlanta Police Department, an arrest has been made in the the hit and run incident in which 2 young women were severely injured after a stolen car jumped the curb and ran them over while they sat on Peeples Street.

"The Atlanta Police Department today charged Byron Devon Perry, age 38, with nine charges related to a hit and run incident that seriously injured two women over the weekend on Peeples Street," said Chafee.

The suspect, Perry, was already on probation and thanks to the community outreach, he turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail this week.  APD told Cascade Patch that Perry was, "charged with serious injury by vehicle and hit and run for each victim, as well as related charges."
