Body Found in Burning Car in SW Atlanta

Police continue to investigate a body found in a burning car.

Police are still investigating a dead body that was found in the back of a Southwest Atlanta home.  The body was burned to the extent that the police could not tell if it was a man or a woman. 

According to WSB-TV, " a caller alerted firefighters about a possible house fire at about 2:30 a.m. at a home on Westmont Road in southwest Atlanta.

When firefighters arrived at the home they found a burning car in the back of a vacant house."

Over the weekend, police said that they have few clues and will continue to piece this crime together.
