C.O.P.S Introduce Smart 911 to NPU-T Residents

Smart 911 gives first responders vital information about you and your property in case of emergency.

Smart 911 is a new system that will help first-responders be better prepared to assist you in an emergency.  If your house is burning and you tell Smart911 that you have a dog that lives with you, then first responders will come searching for both you and your dog if your house catches fire.  If there are special drugs that you or a family member take, and you think first responders should know about if you ever have an emergency, then smart911 is the service to let all that information be known

Please visit smart911.com to fill out a personal profile that will let 911 dispatchers know information you would like about your household. It can be anything about you and your family’s medical conditions, layout of your home, whether or not you have pets – things that will help police officers and fire fighters in the event of emergency.

You decide how much or how little information they can access.
