Man Found Dead Near Adair Park

A man between 25-35 years old was found dead in the street around 4 a.m. Friday morning.


Atlanta Homicide Investigators are continuing to search for clues in an early morning shooting that left one individual dead on a quiet southwest Atlanta street near Adair Park.

According to Carlos Campos with the Atlanta Police Department, "shortly before 4 a.m. today, a Zone Three officer was flagged down in regards to a person down call."  Campos says that, "upon arrival, the victim was found lying in front of 643 Gillette Ave."

No motive or suspect has yet been released to the public, nor the name of the victim in this case.

Responding homicide investigators believe, "that the victim may have been shot in the driveway of 630 Gillette Avenue and collapsed in front of 643 Gillette Avenue."
