Man Found Shot to Death on Alison Court Thursday Evening

The following is an official statement from the Atlanta Police Department, office of Public Affairs about the shooting that occurred at the Brentwood Village apartments on Alison Court late Thursday night:

On Thursday August 29, 2013 at approximately 11:45 pm, Zone 4 units requested investigative assistance at 1975 Alison Court D2 Atlanta, Georgia (Fulton County). When officers arrived at the location they located an unresponsive male. Grady EMS and Atlanta Fire responded to the scene and confirmed the male was deceased. The preliminary investigation determined the victim suffered several gunshot wounds. Atlanta Homicide Units responded to the scene and the area was processed by Atlanta Crime Scene Technicians. The FCME also responded to the scene and the body was removed at his direction. This is an on-going investigation.
