Update: Man Survives after being Carjacked at Wells Fargo on Cascade Rd.

Police continue search for man who used a gun to carjack a man at Wells Fargo.

Update: The victim of the shooting and car jacking has been identified as Trelain McMillion, 31 years old.  He told police that he was meeting 2 unknown individuals to buy marijuana, when one pulled out a gun and robbed him of $2000.  A Bank Manager and a construction worker said they saw the 3 men conversing before hearing a gun shot.  The car was later found at the Atlanta impound, and the suspects have not yet been caught.

Police were on the scene of a violent carjacking at the Wells Fargo on Cascade Road this afternoon.  According to WSB-TV, a man was shot and had his mother-in-law's car stolen from Wells Fargo around 3pm on Monday afternoon in Southwest Atlanta.

Reportedly the man that was shot borrowed the car from his fiance, who had borrowed it from her own mother.  The man was shot in the backside by the perpetrator, but he is now "alert and conscious at Grady Memorial Hospital," according to Channel 2’s Craig Lucie.

Witnesses say they saw 2 cars speeding off.  Police are asking people to be on the lookout for a 2005 teal Mercury Marquis with a handicapped sticker.

Voters might find it useful to be provided with the names and positions held by members of theRead More "Community Advisory Boards" and the "Human Services Coordinating Committee" as these 2 groups seem to have been provided with enough information to make $4M worth of recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. Conversely, not long ago, a costly audit report revealed that not enough program information had been collected (over a 3 year period) for professional auditors to make programmatic recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. Taxpayers of Fulton County are in dire need of NEW Commissioners who will not continue to buy the garbage, repeatedly, placed before them by the Director of Housing and Human Services: Gerry Easley. It would also be beneficial for taxpayers to be provided with the list of names of individual government employees who did receive permanent salary increases, during the last 5 year, when no county-wide permanent raises were approved of by the Board of Commissioners.
