Missing Cascade Area Woman Found

Third southwest Atlanta Alzheimer's patient missing recently after leaving from home.

Atlanta Police have canceled a Mattie's Call for Marie Anne Phillips, 77, according to Atlanta Police spokesman Curtis Davenport.

Davenport said in a news release Monday morning that Phillips was found and reunited with her family. No information was given to her whereabouts. Marie Phillips was last seen Friday around 11 a.m. near 2098 Honeysuckle Lane.

Marie Phillips suffers from Alzheimer. She is the third southwest Atlanta resident suffering from Alzheimer reported missing by family members in the pass two months.

was reported missing on June 8 after not arriving to his destination, the Beautiful Restaurant on Cascade Road. He was found safe in Dekalb County the next day.

Also, earlier this month, July 8, was reported missing from her southwest Atlanta home after boarding a Marta Bus. No further information has been received about her whereabouts.
