Updated: Police Sketches; Mother and 2 Children Found Safe at West End Mall after Carjacking

The mother and children went missing following a shooting and attempted carjacking on Friday night.

Update: Atlanta Police investigators released 2 sketches of the suspects wanted for the, "armed kidnapping of an adult female and her two children Friday night March 22, 2013 on Bass Street SE."  One of the men in the photo has, "a distinct cross tattoo beside his right eye that may be black/blue in color," says investigators.

Any person with information as to the identity or whereabouts of the two suspects shown is asked to please Investigator S. DeMeester at 404-546-5569.

A mother and her daughter and son may have been found safe at the West End Mall, according to Atlanta Police, after going missing following a shooting and attempted carjacking Friday night.

On Saturday morning, Atlanta Police issued a Levi's Call/Amber Alert for 10-year-old Deryle Denson and 7-year-old Chloe Jenkins, who were last seen on Bass Street around 7 p.m. Friday.

Police said a man, who 11 Alive reports as the children's father, was shot in the chest when someone attempted to carjack his vehicle at the 600 block of Reed Street.

Minutes later, Deryle and Chloe's mother, Darah Jenkins, drove up on the scene with her children in tow and the suspects jumped into her car as a getaway vehicle, forcing them to drive away, according to WSB.

11Alive reports that the children's father was transported Grady Hospital and is expected to recover.

The suspect is described as a man with a short afro. He was last seen driving a green 1997 Oldsmobile 88 with Georgia tag PCX6582.
