Motorcyclist Unresponsive After Lee Street Accident Saturday

APD requesting more details from eyewitness accounts.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., Saturday morning, Atlanta Police received a call in reference to a cyclist down on the freeway at I-20 west bound just east of the Lee Street exit. The motorcycle and the cyclist were lying in the emergency lane. The cyclist was unresponsive.  

The cyclist was transported to Grady Hospital with a head injury. At this time, it is unknown if the cyclist was struck by another vehicle or if the cyclist struck the median wall due to losing control of the motorcycle. There were no witnesses on scene.
