Atlanta Police officers have been canvassing the Mechanicsville neighborhood overnight, trying to find leads into a shooting that left 2 people with gunshot wounds and one person dead.
According to Lt. Paul Guerrucci, the APD recieved the call of shots fired around 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning. The victims had been transported to Grady by the time the officers arrived, but learned that one person had died from his wounds.
“We don’t really have a lot of information to give us a clear understanding of what actually occurred,” Guerrucci told WSB.com.
The police department is continuing to look for leads and motives in the case.
