Police Arrest Suspect in the Murder of Terry Porter in SW Atlanta

Ladarius Hardy has been taken in custody in connection with the murder of Terry Porter outside his Southwest Atlanta home.

Ladarius Hardy is now in police custody after being on the run for weeks, he was wanted in connection with the murder of Terry Porter in a Southwest Atlanta neighborhood.

U.S. Marshals were able to track Hardy down and capture him while he was hiding in a friend's bedroom in Conyers, GA.

Many in the neighborhood recall that Terry Porter was gunned down in his driveway, and robbed for his Range Rover and money that he had in his wallet.  Hardy was seen on surveillance cameras using Porter's ATM card and vehicle.  It is believed by Chamblee PD, that Hardy also carjacked and robbed a woman in Chamblee just months ago.

The SW Atlanta victim's brother, Levi Bias, told Channel 2 news that he believes there is still more to this story.  He believes Ladarius Hardy could not have acted alone, because his brother was so big and strong.  Levi was also very instrumental in helping the police officials identify Hardy as the suspect which helped this case begin to come to a close.

Ladarius Hardy will be transported to Fulton County Jail later Wednesday morning and charged with murder, robbery, carjacking and several other crimes.
