Police Canvassing Skipper Place to Help Solve Murder Case

The Atlanta Police Department Homicide Unit along with other units will be holding a neighborhood canvassing on Wednesday afternoon near the Collier Heights neighborhood.

The police's presence is in response to an unsolved murder that occurred at 302 Skipper Place SW, Atlanta, GA on December 21. 2012.  According to the APD spokesperson, "these Tactical Neighborhood Canvasses have made an significant impact on information developed during the investigation on past homicide cases."

The canvass will be performed on 02/27/2013 at 4:00pm and will begin outside the home at 302 Skipper Place SW.  

There will be a large presence of officers including officers from Zone 1 F. I. T. and C. I. D.,  C.O.P. Unit, A.P.E.X. Unit, Motors Unit, Mounted Patrol, and Homicide Unit.   

There will be community leaders in attendance, as well, and residents are welcome to join in the search for more information.
