Police Release Suspect Sketches in the Danforth Rd. Homicide near Cascade Rd.

Atlanta Police have released sketches of two suspects wanted for the robbery and near Cascade Road, in Southwest Atlanta on August 23rd.

Timmy Ashley was walking from the bus stop after work on the evening of the 23rd when, police believe, he was approached by the two suspects attempting to rob him. As Timmy ran away, he was shot and passed away in the street.

Residents in the surrounding areas are being asked to look at the sketches and to help with the investigation in any way that they can. On 08-23-2012 Atlanta Police responded to the 4000 block of Danforth Rd regarding a male lying in the road. Upon arrival it was determined that the male had been shot and was deceased. Around the same time of the shooting, Fulton County Police responded to a pedestrian robbery in this same area.  Investigators believe that the same men may be responsible for the homicide and robbery. -Atlanta Police Dept.
