Police Searching for 13-year-old Campbellton Road Runaway

Atlanta police believe the girl ran away May 30th after getting in trouble for fighting.

Atlanta Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who ran away from home Monday evening.

LaKoaia Johnson was last seen carrying a black gym bag around 10 p.m. near her apartment complex in the 2900 block of Campbellton Road, according to APD spokeswoman Kim Jones. 

The young teen had left through her bedroom window after her grandmother went to sleep, Jones said in an e-mail statement about the incident. Police said she was in trouble for getting into a fight.

LaKoaia—who goes by the name "CoCo"—is 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She wears a red Mohawk and was last seen in a tan shirt with ripped blue jeans. LaKoaia has a history of running away from home.

Anyone with information of LaKoaia's whereabouts is asked to contact Atlanta police.
