Police SWAT Team Arrest Man on Morrow Lane, SW; Bodies Found

Shortly before 9:00 this morning, the Atlanta Police Department received a call stating an individual was inside a dwelling on Morrow Lane and that he had possibly killed multiple people. SWAT and the Hostage Negotiation Team was notified and responded to the scene. Shortly thereafter a subject was taken into custody without incident. Homicide arrived on scene and found two victims deceased at the location. We believe this incident is related to a homicide in East Point. The Atlanta PD and East Point PD are working the investigation jointly.

A man was barricaded in a house on Morrow Lane, near Benjamin Mays Dr. Sunday, September 23rd, the Atlanta SWAT Team activated to bring him into custody.

According to an AJC article, a body was found inside the Morrow Lane home.  In addition, the police are investigating if this body is related to a body that was found in East Point earlier Sunday morning.
