On December 12, 2013, Atlanta Police Officer, D. Parker, received a call at 18:49 for a commercial robbery at 3030 HEADLAND DRIVE (CVS).

According to the APD police report, "the description came over the radio of a black male with blue jeans, blue hat and a beige trench coat. Dispatch advised the victim stated the suspect was heading towards the Kroger behind the CVS on foot."

As the officer was responding to the call, he unknowingly encountered the suspect he was looking for outside of nearby Burger King.  The officer did not have a complete description to be able to suspect this man, until he encountered the witnesses at CVS.

The officers combed through the surveillance footage to see the suspect. According to the officer's report, "it showed the suspect I saw at the Burger King, enter the CVS wearing a blue toboggan, beige trench coat, and a suit. He walked up to the front counter with a bag of chips and an orange Gatorade. He paid for the items and when the cashier was retrieving his change, pulled out a small tire iron and swung it at the cashier to back her away from the cash drawer. He reached over the counter and pulled the cash drawer out then left through the front door."

APD reports no injuries were sustained by anyone.

If you have any information on the suspect shown in this video, please call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477).
