Rev. Gerald Durley Talks About The Murder of Associate Pastor Derek Moses
Durley: There are few leads in the murder of accountant and Providence Missionary Baptist Church Associate Pastor Rev. Derek Moses.
The congregation of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and the greater southwest Atlanta community are still stunned and baffled by the mysterious execution-style murder of Associate Pastor Derek Moses last month at his office of business, Rev. Gerald Durley said recently in an exclusive interview with Cascade Patch.
Moses, a Cascade area accountant, was shot twice in his office on Cascade Road on March 28. His Mercedes Benz was moved by the perpetrators to give the impression that he had left the office. The car was found with the keys in the ignition by a passerby who took the vehicle.
Atlanta Police later ruled out that person as a suspect.

According to Durley, Atlanta Police detectives say the trail is growing cold because of lack of evidence at the murder scene and in the victim's car. So far, no witnesses have come forth to give a description of anyone driving the vehicle.
Members of the church and the community are looking to post a reward for information soon, Durley said.
