Southwest Atlanta Woman, 77, Missing Since Friday

Third southwest Atlanta Alzheimer's patient missing in recent months after leaving from home.

Atlanta Police have released a Mattie's Call for Marie Anne Phillips, 77 years old. Atlanta Police spokesman, John Chaffe, reported that she was last seen Friday around 11 a.m, at 2098 Honeysuckle Lane.

She is described as a black female, 5’10”, weighing 150 to 160 pounds. She has brown eyes, grey hair and is balding. She was last seen wearing a tan dress that buttons to the front and possibly has two rings on her left hand.

Marie Phillips suffers from Alzheimer. She is the third southwest Atlanta resident suffering from Alzheimer reported missing by family members in the pass two months.

was reported missing on June 8 after not arriving to his destination, the Beautiful Restaurant on Cascade Road. However, he was found safe in Dekalb County the next day.

Also, earlier this month, July 8, was reported missing from her southwest Atlanta home after boarding a Marta Bus. No further information has been received about her whereabouts.
