Two students were among five people who were robbed early Saturday morning at a park near the campus.
The students - both females enrolled at Spelman - and another woman and two men were robbed around 2 a.m. at Dean Rusk Park, according to Channel 2 Action News.
APD spokesman Officer John Chafee told the AJC two men approached the group and pointed handguns at them. They ordered the victims to remove their clothes and put them into a pole.
The suspects then told the group to get into a nearby pool. The suspects then fled on foot.
Police said the robbers got away with cellphones, car keys and wallets, which had no money inside, just credit cards. No one was injured in the incident, and police also have not said why the group was in the park after hours.
