Trail of Footprints in Snow Leads to Arrest, Burglary Charges

A trail of footprints in the snow from a breakin led police to a burglary suspect.

Atlanta Police credit the snowstorm for helping lead officers to a suspected burglar’s door Thursday -- they followed footprints left in the snow.

Kenneth Ray Evans, 58, was arrested and charged with burglary, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

A burglar alarm was triggered around 3:30 a.m. Thursday at K&K Soul Food, 881 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. Officers found tire tracks and footsteps leading away from the restaurant, which has been closed since a fire.
