Update: Wichita Remains Identified
Police identify body found last week in a Cascade abandoned house.
Atlanta police have identified the remains of a last week.
"The remains have been identified as those of Marvin Simmons," police spokesperson K.Y. Jones said, .
On Feb. 22, the APD's Missing Persons Unit was in the area canvassing for a missing person when an officer found badly decomposed remains in the rear of an abandoned house at 1353 Wichita Drive.

Simmons' last known location was 1378 Wichita Drive in the Venetian Hills Elementary area.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office, cause of death has not yet been identified.
