(Updated) Police Seek Suspects in Fatal Shooting of Two
No clear motives or witnesses to shootings.
Atlanta Police are requesting the community's assistance for information regarding the fatal shooting of two men on Sat., July 30, in southwest Atlanta, according to local news reports.
Channel 2 Action News reporter Erica Byfield said the shootings occurred at a home on Waters Road. According to the televised news report, the victims are John Henry Smith, Jr., and Brandon Atkinson. A neighbor describes hearing two gun shots. One shot, a pause, then, the second shot.
Atkinson was found inside the house. Smith was found on the porch.

Atlanta Police Inv. Scott Bowers said there are no clear motives or witnesses. Also, there are not any suspects at this time.
