Video: Zone 1 Crime Report from NPU-T

Crime continues to trend downward

Correction: The video identifies the Zone 1 Commander incorrectly.  His name is Major Timothy Quiller (not Willard).

Last week at NPU-T, the Zone 1 Commander reported that crime has been down all summer and continues to be.  There have been arrests of juveniles lately who have been breaking into cars and stealing cars in the Mozley Park area.  Zone 1 officers continue to be vigilant in that area and are pushing for the courts to give these repeat juvenile offenders more time when convicted.

In addition, The Commander talked about a slight rise in crime over in the AUC.  He says that something must be done, so that these students know not to walk with any strangers or trust any strangers in the area at night.  He cited one particular case in which a group of girls were robbed, late at night by a group of men that they followed.
