Zone 1 Prosecutor Achieves a Conviction in the Morehouse Students Kidnapping Case

4 Morehouse students were kidnapped and armed robbed in 2010.

Steven Jones, Zone 1 Community Prosecutor and Assistant District Attorney, spoke to neighbors at the September NPU-T meeting about a conviction in the kidnapping case of 4 Morehouse students.

In the video above, Mr. Jones talks about how he and his team were able to get a serious conviction against the perpetrators that kidnapped 4 Morehouse students in April of 2010.  These individuals threw the students into the trunk and forcefully used a gun to make the students withdraw money from various ATMs.  The criminals were caught, found guilty and just convicted last week.

In addition, Assistant DA Jones, informed the community that he is holding an Advisory Board Meeting on October 25th in his office at 5:30pm.  District Attorney Howard will be in attendance, and it is an opportunity for neighbors to work more closely with Zone 1 Prosecutors.  Steven Jones' number is 404-752-5748 for more information.
