Zone 4 informs NPU-I that Crime is Down in the area

Lt. Payton says that crime is relatively down this summer.

During this month's NPU-I meeting, Lt. Payton of Zone 4 informed residents that crime within the 405 and 406 beat was relatively low and not out of control.

The Lieutenant took time to walk thru the report and list the streets in which arrests were made and crimes committed.  As some residents raised questions about their own streets, he was able to let them know that the crime was not "a violent crime, but (in this case) a traffic incident."

NPU meetings are a great place to find key information from your Police and Fire Departments.  These meetings can be very informative, and they also give you a voice as a resident of your community.  NPU-I meets every third Wednesday of the month.
