One Humanity Conference

Fulton County invites young men between 8 and 11-years old living in Fulton County to participate in the 2nd Annual One Humanity Conference sponsored by the Youth Leadership Academy for Boys.  The goal of the One Humanity Conference is to develop young males’ understanding of manhood and recognition that we are all connected.  Additionally, the conference teaches that our differences should not hinder teamwork or generosity, but make the challenges and hurdles of life easier to overcome.

Call to Manhood is facilitated by the Fulton County Housing and Human Services Department, Office of Children and Youth.  The vision of YLA for Boys is to equip young men with the tools to provide visionary, ethical, and socially responsible leadership for their community.  The aim is to cultivate their ability to see the world and its issues not as daunting challenges, but rather opportunities.

Registration must be completed by all participating organizations and individuals by Monday, February 13, 2012.  Chaperones must accompany youth to the conference.  For more information, contact Youth Leadership Academy Coordinator Spencer Burton-Webb.
