Future Leaders Needed to Serve as Fulton County Youth Commissioners

The deadline for submission to become a Youth Commissioner is Friday, May 17, 2013.

In a letter to NPU-T residents, Reginald Crossley of the Fulton County Youth Commission said that there is a need for future leaders to get involved and become Youth Commissioners.

"Young people are needed who want to serve others while researching and identifying potential solutions for issues that affect the quality of life for youth in the County," says Crossley in his written statement.

The program is for students that are naturally concerned about the economic, political, and social future of themsleves and others in the County.  According to Crossley, "students accepted into the program will impact policies and legislation, interact with elected leaders on the local and state levels and speak out on behalf of all Fulton County youth."
