Make sure you are registered to vote, and/or help others get registered.

I am going to start with the basic, most importnat information because today is the very last day to register to vote in the upcoming Presidential Election.  You can download a voter registration form at www.fultonelections.com.  If you think you are already registered, PLEASE CHECK by going to Secretary of State website, and click on "My Voter Page".

Fulton County residents who are interested in participating in the upcoming November General Election are reminded to register to vote before the deadline on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Registered voters are urged to check and make sure their address information on file with the Department is up-to-date, especially if they have had an address or name change recently.

To register to vote in the state of Georgia, you must: 1) be a citizen of the United States; 2) be a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you wish to vote; 3) be at least 18 years of age on Election Day. Residents registering to vote for the first time and registered voters who want to update their information both need to fill out a voter registration form.  Once the Department receives the completed form, precinct cards are mailed within two to three weeks of that receipt.

Residents can obtain a voter registration form at one of three County offices: 1) Fulton County Government Center (130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186 Atlanta, GA 30303); 2) Fulton County North Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta, GA 30350); 3) Fulton County South Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349).  Voter registration forms are also available at the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office and all Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library branches. You can also download a voter registration form at www.fultonelections.com.
