Sen. Fort says he is "Very Concerned," Regarding City of South Fulton

Politicians begin to weigh in on whether they support a City of South Fulton or not.

Sen. Vincent Fort (D-Atlanta) issued the following statement on Wednesday afternoon regarding the formation of a City of South Fulton:

“I am not supporting the creation of the city of South Fulton.  I believe there is a great potential for tax increases and decline in services for citizens if the city of South Fulton is created.

I am very concerned with the lack of transparency and incorrect statements being made by proponents of South Fulton cityhood.  I will strive to make sure that the citizens receive the best information possible.”
