The latest issue that is sure to be discussed are House Bills 170 and 171.  House Bill 171, in particular, if passed will force Commissioner Bill Edwards and Commissioner Emma Darnell to fight for the same seat, and gives residents less representation.  In a video on Cascade Patch,   She urges community members to come to the public hearing and sign petitions letting the Republican controlled assembly know that "the People are against these bills."

Another Cliftondale Community meeting will be held on March 11th in which District 7, Fulton County Commissioner,  William "Bill" Edwards will discuss the State of the County.
