South Fulton Legislators to hold Public Hearing for Citizens on Cityhood Debate

Legislators seek input from public as the 2014 Legislative Session begins

House and Senate members representing South Fulton County will hold a public hearing on January 9, 2014 at Westlake High School, 2700 Union Road, SW Atlanta 30331, beginning at 6pm.

The purpose of the meeting to give residents the opportunity to make comments on issues they would like to see the Georgia General Assembly address during their upcoming 40-day legislative session. Citizens groups, neighborhood associations and members of the public are invited to attend and participate in this important event.

HB 387 (To Create the Office of Minority&Women Business Development Division) & HB 704 (To Create the City of South Fulton) both sponsored by Rep. Roger Bruce (HD 61) will have a major impact on the economy in South Fulton in a positive way. I support both bills.

Rodney, is the feasibility study to determine if a City of South Fulton is indeed financially viable, available for residents to review yet?
