State Senator Donzella James Cruises to a District 35 Victory

The final count has taken place and the friends, supporters, and neighbors of Donzella James are rejoicing in their election victory.  Tonight from the 50 Yard Line on Old National Hwy, the campaign has a scheduled election party to celebrate the overwhelming results. 

Mrs. James was elected once again as State Senator of District 35. With all precincts reporting Donzella James received 75% of the vote, and her opponents splitting the remainder.

In a landslide race, James was able to call on her supporters within District 35 to elect her to the office of State Senator.  Upon being sworn in under the Capital’s gold dome, she will have to work with members of both sides to help pass some of the issues she campaigned on.

During the campaign, Donzella James said she wants to continue to fight for children .  “the safety and health of our children remain” in my thoughts.  She wants to end child trafficking, and will fight for stronger Child Protection Laws.
