Torry decided to run for city council because he noticed that jobs are leaving the area, people are being evicted from their homes, and the lack of true representation from his city council member.

He strongly believes that delivering on the message of business and job growth, traffic relief, and eradication of blighted property will: restore economic prosperity, reduce crime, and add community development opportunities to his district and to the city as whole.

For Torry it is more than having empty promises for his district, but it is about having solutions and proactively resolving issues.
