Transportation Penny Tax Hearing Tonight at Atlanta City Hall

Hearing on Atlanta Regional Roundtable's "Investment Act" transportation development plan 6—8 p.m. at Atlanta City Hall.

Atlanta residents can review the Atlanta Regional Roundtable's Investment Act proposal and offer feedback at a public hearing 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave.

On Sat., Oct. 15, the ARR's "draft final project list" will become a "final-final project list," setting in stone those projects that would be funded should voters approve the proposed regional transportation sales tax in 2012.

This month, the ARR will be hosting meetings throughout the region to give voters a chance to review the projects slated for funding through the proposed regional transportation sales tax.

The first segment of each meeting will be an open house where you can actually "see" projects from the draft list on maps and display boards.

The second segment is Q&A time with a panel moderated by The Civic League and featuring planners who can answer the questions that are most important to residents.
