The Arctic blast that disrupted our lives these past few days is in retreat, but its effects remain.
The Atlanta Department of Public Works says normal pick-ups garbage and yard trimmings will be late all week:
We sent a notice of delay out on yesterday to advise that due to inclement weather, pick-up services for household garbage and yard trimmings are delayed for the remainder of the week. We are working throughout the remainder of the week to ensure pick up of all services including yard trimmings. Customers should leave their items out at the curb.
