Women For Michael Johnson Host Event
The Cascade resident is running against longtime U.S. Congressman John Lewis.
Supporters of Cascade resident and 5th District congressional candidate Michael Johnson held an event this past Saturday to show their support for the candidate.
The Women For Michael Johnson committee's event was held at Paschal's Restaurant, in the Castleberry Hill community.
Johnson, a former Fulton County Superior Court judge, announced his candidacy last summer. U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Atlanta, is the incumbent.

Johnson's wife, Alison Holmes Johnson, daughter of the late civil rights pioneer and Atlanta physician Dr. Hamilton E. Holmes, is spearheading the Women for Michael Johnson committee.
