APS Has Used Up Allotment of Makeup Days

Atlanta Public Schools canceled three days of classes last week due to Winter Storm Leon.

Atlanta Public Schools' Superintendent Erroll Davis commented this week that state law allows for up to four days for emergency closings and after last week's Winter Storm Leon, all those days have been utilized.

APS canceled three days last week due to the snow and ice, and a day in early January due to frigid temperatures.

So now, the school district has used up its four days, but won't have to make up for missed classes last week.
