APS Parents Reminded to Voice Opinions in Trio of Surveys

Atlanta Public Schools is looking for input from parents on a trio of initiatives and, is making a push for parents to participate:

2014-2017 CALENDAR SURVEY:

• Three years of proposed APS calendars have been released for community input.  Your opinion matters as the district plans calendars for the next three school years.  APS Calendar Survey: www.atlantapublicschools.us/calendarsurvey2013.

• In an effort to continuously improve our services, we conduct quarterly surveys to gauge your perception and satisfaction about how we at APS conduct our business.  Your input, responses and comments will remain confidential. APS Perception Survey: www.surveymonkey.com/s/APS_Perception_Survey.

• APS parents are encouraged to participate in Georgia Parent Survey administered by the Georgia Department of Education . Data from the Georgia Parent Survey will be used along with the Georgia Student Health Survey and the Georgia School Personnel Survey to calculate the School Climate Star Rating within the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI).  The Georgia Parent Survey will be open through Friday, January 31, 2014.  Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.
