Atlanta Track Classic 2013 Results - Mays, Douglass, and Washington All Place High

The Atlanta Track Classic is a citywide track meet bringing together the best track athletes throughout Atlanta Public Schools.


The finals of the 2013 Atlanta Track Classic were held on April 1, 2013, and high schools in the Cascade Patch area all did well this year.  According to reporting by TalkUp APS, "the Atlanta Track Classic is a citywide track meet bringing together the best track athletes throughout Atlanta Public Schools." 

The Men's Team Trophy went to Mays High School, who was followed by Carver High and Grady High.  The Women's Team Trophy was reserved for Grady High School, who were followed by Jackson High and Douglass High.

  • De’Angelo Yancey of Mays HS won the Men's 100m dash
  • The Mays HS relay team won the 4 x 400 meter relay
  • Halimah Barlow of Douglass HS won the 100m dash AND the 200m dash
  • Kevia Gonzales of Douglass HS placed 2nd in 100m dash
  • Darius Statum of Mays HS won the Men's 200m dash and 400m dash
  • Douglass High Women won the 4x100m Relay AND the 4x400m Relay
  • Mays High Men won the 4x100m Relay AND the 4x400m Relay
