Carver College on Cascade Road Celebrates Homecoming 2012
Let's go out and support Dr. Crummie and our neighborhood college, Carver!!!!
Carver College is located at 3870 Cascade Road in Southwest Atlanta. Carver College was established to meet the need for an institution of higher learning for those desiring biblical and theological training. Carver was established in 1943 and, "for more than 60 years, Carver has sought to fulfill its mandate to assist the global church in its commission of world evangelization and discipleship."
The Carver College school motto is "Training to Transform". They hold their annual Homecoming Weekend celebration starting Friday, October 26, with their Founder's Banquet with Reggie Gay as the MC. Other events include the Homecoming Basketball game versus Benedict College, and the Homecoming concert afterwards. On Sunday there will be a special Homecoming church service.
