New this year, Council President Mitchell is partnering with The Princeton Review to administer the practice college entrance exams. Through the new partnership, students have an opportunity to take the PRA, an assessment that will help them determine whether they would test better on the ACT or the SAT. The format of the PSAT will remain the same.

The fall 2012 CPS College Fair offers exciting changes as well. In addition to the College Fair, participants will experience a full scores back session where they will hear from a college admissions guru. The guest speaker will explain how to read the scores back report and how students can use the report to lead them to their higher education goals.  Students who plan to apply for Georgia’s public colleges and universities may apply for free during the November 20th College Fair. Representatives from The Scholarship Academy will be present to help guide them through their application process.

“We are excited about the upcoming enhancements to the College Prep Series,” said Mitchell. “By offering the PRA assessment, we hope to help students best prepare for their college admissions exams by focusing on the exam that best highlights their strengths.”
