Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslow and the Rev. John Battle, pastor of New Shield of Faith Christian Ministries, will sponsor a housing and down-payment assistance workshop to discuss the three program available.
Potential homebuyers can receive up to 30% of the sales price in down payment assistance to purchase a home in the city. Funding for 100 potential homebuyers remains available. Financial counselors will also be on hand to help potential homebuyers improve their credit scores.
