5 Things Southwest Atlanta Voters Need to Know

Tuesday is Election Day. Do you have everything you need?

It is an off-year—we won't have a presidential election until 2012—but metro Atlantans will go to the polls tomorrow to cast their votes on several important issues.

So, get ready, there are several things southwest Atlanta residents need to know for Election Day:

1. Polls open Tuesday at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. A sample ballot for a 30311 resident is posted with this story. To locate your polling location and see a ballot, go to Georgia's My Voter Page.

For EduPAC's assessment of the candidates see the PDF on this page; for more on this vote, see our special District 2 APS Roundup Page.

5. Not sure if you're registered? Check in on the Georgia Secretary of State's web page. You'll also find the polling station for your neighborhood.
