School Closings Will Give APS, Fulton Students a Long Break
APS will notify year-round calendar students, parents and employees on Thursday about the status of Friday classes.
Due to inclement weather, Atlanta Public Schools and its administrative offices will remain closed on Thursday, Feb. 13. Only essential personnel should report.
With traditional students scheduled to be off on Friday and Monday for winter break, they are not set to be back in the classroom until Tuesday, Feb. 18.
APS will notify year-round calendar students, parents and employees on Thursday about the status of Friday classes.
Fulton County Schools, including all schools and administrative offices, will be closed on Thursday. Like APS, Fulton Schools has a winter break scheduled for Friday and next Monday.
Makeup days have not been determined, however they will not affect the spring break holidays set for April according to the school system.
