Stanton, Beecher Hills Win Kroger Grants

The Cascade schools participated in the company's Earning Plus Learning program.


and elementary schools have each won $1,500 in grants from Kroger.

Kroger’s Atlanta Division – which includes Georgia, South Carolina, eastern Tennessee and northern Alabama – is donating a total of $12,500 in grants to nine Atlanta-area schools as part of its “Earning Plus Learning” program.

The annual contest invited schools across the Division to creatively demonstrate how they promoted the 2011-2012 theme, “Healthy Living,” within their communities.

The Earning Plus Learning entries took the form of scrapbooks, photos, videos, essays, news clippings and more. All entries were reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of local and regional community leaders and the Kroger Community Involvement Team.
