Woodward Academy Senior from Cascade Named SACAC Scholarship Recipient
Angell Green is a Cascade area resident and recently awarded with a SACA scholarship.
Great news coming out of Woodward Academy in regards to a local senior from the Victoria Place neighborhood. Woodward Academy Senior Angell Green was named a recipient of the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling's (SACAC) Extend the Dream Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, academic achievement and community service.
"I have had many ordeals in life yet I do not let it affect me as I have one goal in mind: becoming an educated success," he said. "The scholarship to me represents more than funds; it represents an opened door that will help me take another step into accomplishment." Angell plans to attend Georgia State University after graduating from Woodward.
