Black/Brown Coalition-A Suicide Pact

Blacks and Browns need the same jobs so they are not the best two ethnic groups for a coalition right now.

First of all let me state for the record: "I am not anti-immigrant nor am I anti-Hispanic." [I am just pro-black, in my conservative, Republican sorta way].

That being said, I would like to present to you why a so called Black/Brown Coalition helps only one group of black people—the politicians.

It is for purely selfish and political reasons that so many Democratic politicians are for this Black/Brown Coalition. This is a fictional coalition that is supposed to exist between African-Americans and Latinos. This is supposed to be a tandem whose partnership is supposed to strengthen the Democratic Party. But the people do not benefit at all.

This coalition will not benefit black people; here's why:

Over the last two decades, African-Americans have steadily lost jobs to Hispanics in construction, landscaping and the hospitality industry. Now it is usually at this point that the Left will yell "But our people don't want those jobs!"

It is at this point that logic yells, louder, with "But our people are dying by taking jobs selling drugs, fighting in gangs and dreaming of nothing but becoming rap stars and video vixens!"

Nevertheless, the point of this is to show that Black Democrats who want to support illegal immigration (which is all of them) are doing it for political votes only. Now it is fair, at this point, to say the Republicans are against this coalition because of the same reasons.

However, in this global economy, it behooves us as a people not to commit racial suicide. It is my strong belief that to allow some 13 to 20 million people compete for the same jobs that a large group of our black men need would be death to our community.

Do I sound alarmist? Of course I do. Any Black/Brown coalition will end with one group surpassing the other and one group of kids becoming the boss and the landlords of the others. I love my people and would be very sad thirty years from now if we are supplanted totally from all opportunity in this great country of ours.
