(Updated) Southwest Atlantans Winners in 5k

Two running clubs with members from the greater Cascade area—Black Girls Run and the South Fulton Running Partners—bring home iron in South Dekalb Striders Annual 5k For Hope road race.

Members of two running clubs with members who live in southwest Atlanta won top trophies at the Annual South Dekalb Stiders 5k For Hope road race Saturday.

Race results and a list of all winners were not available at press time but here are some highlights:

Jania Hoover, 1st Place Female in the 30 to 34 age group.

Darlene Baltimore, a Cliftondale/Camp Creek area resident, 1st Place Female in the 35 to 39.

Sonya Jefferson, 3rd Place Female in the 35 to 39 age group.

Cleo (Wynnette) Strain, 2nd Female in the 40 to 44 age group.

Winners from The South Fulton Running Partners included:

Eulene Josiah-Tanner, of Cascade Heights, First Place Overall Female.
