student Alexus Rockward is set to compete this Sunday, March 11, in the semi-finals of the Poetry Out Loud competition.
The event is being held at Decatur High School.
In round one of the competition, Rockward will be reading a poem entitled, "Do Not," by Stevie Smith. In round two, he'll be reading "Life in a Love," by Robert Browning.
